Depois que decidimos nos casar em novembro desse ano, eu fui ao Brasil e não contei nada pros meus pais. Até que o Michel ligou pra eles via Skype, vestido lindinho de terno e gravata (pra quem não sabe, tem como ver a pessoa com quem se está falando) e pediu permissão pra casar comigo (ohhh, bunitinho!). Levou um tempo pra ficha dos babas cair, mas depois, não só eles aceitaram, como ficaram radiantes.
E agora, a doidera de arranjar tudo em uma semana (que é o tempo que vou passar aqui) vai começar. Não estamos certos do que queremos, mas com certeza nós sabemos que:

• deve ser simples, divertido e elegante ao mesmo tempo
• deve ter uma festa de arromba - porque nós dois amaaaaaamos festa!
• não deve sucumbir às imposições da indústria do casamento, porque somos meio avessos à regras que só geram lucros e não adicionam nada de interessante

Tudo que você deve esperar é se divertir muito e celebrar junto à nós o amor que temos um pelo outro.

After we decided to get married in November, I went to Brasil without my parents knowing the news and, via internet, Michel, elegantly dressed in suit and tie, asked to my parents permission to get married to me (awww, so cute!). My parents took a while to realize what was happening but they were happy to accept his request.

And now... the crazy arrangements start! We have no idea what exactly we want, except that we know for sure:

• it must be simple, fun and elegant - cause it's better to enjoy this time other than become a bride-zilla
• it must have a big party, cause we both looooove parties
• it must NOT follow the rules of the wedding industry, cause we both don't like rules that are made to fool people into buying big diamonds

All you can expect is to have lots of fun in the event of the year, that will celebrate the love we have for each other!
